Synopsis:

The Krishna Chronicles is a web series that follows the journey of Lord Krishna, one of  the most beloved avatars of Lord Vishnu, as he navigates the challenges and triumphs of his life. From his birth in Mathura to his final departure from the mortal world, the series will explore the many facets of Krishna's life and teachings.

 

Episode 1: The Birth of Krishna

The series opens with the birth of Krishna, the eighth son of Devaki and Vasudev. We see how Kansa, Devaki's brother, becomes fearful of the prophecy that predicts Krishna will be the cause of his downfall. Kansa orders the death of all of Devaki's children, but Vasudev manages to smuggle Krishna to safety in the village of Gokul. The episode ends with Krishna's arrival in Gokul, where he is welcomed with great joy by Nanda and Yashoda.

 

Episode 2: The Childhood of Krishna

In this episode, we see Krishna growing up in Gokul, playing with his friends and performing miraculous deeds that reveal his divinity. We see how he saves the village from a flood and how he defeats the demoness Putana, who had been sent by Kansa to kill him. We also see how Krishna's love for butter leads him to engage in mischievous antics that endear him to the villagers even more.

 

Episode 3: Krishna and the Gopis

In this episode, we see how Krishna's charm and charisma attract the love and devotion of the gopis, the young women of the village. We see how he plays his flute to enchant them and how he dances with them in the moonlight. The episode ends with a cliffhanger, as Kansa sends his demoness Aghasura to kill Krishna.

 

Episode 4: Krishna and Aghasura

This episode follows the dramatic showdown between Krishna and Aghasura, who has taken the form of a giant serpent. We see how Krishna uses his divine powers to defeat Aghasura and how he emerges unscathed from the serpent's belly, along with his friends. We also see how this victory further cements Krishna's reputation as a savior and protector.

 

Episode 5: The Battle of Kurukshetra

This episode focuses on the most famous event of Krishna's life: the battle of Kurukshetra. We see how Krishna acts as the charioteer and advisor to Arjuna, the Pandava prince, as he fights against his cousins, the Kauravas. We see how Krishna delivers his famous Bhagavad Gita discourse, which lays out the principles of dharma and the path to liberation. The episode ends with the Pandavas emerging victorious, but at a great cost.

 

Episode 6: The Departure of Krishna

In this final episode, we see how Krishna prepares to depart from the mortal world, as his work on earth is done. We see how he meets with his devotees and imparts his final teachings, including the importance of devotion and surrender to God. We also see how his departure brings sadness and grief to his loved ones, but how his legacy lives on through his teachings and the love he inspired.
